Welcome to the Living Math Books site. I’m so glad you are here. This is a collection of living math books that can be used to teach and/or reinforce various mathematical skills. My desire is for this book collection to help facilitate a positive and FUN learning experience for children.

The goal is to make math meaningful, one book at a time. The Best Start. Math Lessons for a Living Education Level 1 teaches math through engaging, real-life stories and practical application because math is all around us.

This story-based approach invites students to participate in the story, make mathematical connections, explore the world around them with Charlie & Charlotte, and realize the value of math in their own lives%().

Rod and Staff Math Mathematics for Christian Living Series "Rod and Staff's math program is black-and-white, straightforward, no-nonsense, traditional mathematics with an emphasis on drill and memorization as well as practical application through word problems.

Previously taught concepts are continuously reviewed." —Cathy Duffy This series is designed with the following. “A delightfully entertaining, instructive, and useful book—one that reminds us that mathematics can be both stimulating and extremely handy.

From understanding designs in the natural world to the reason manhole covers are round; from probability in poker to the perplexing Monty Hall Problem; and from the geometry of the Spirograph to the geometrical aesthetics of Raphael, /5(3). Math readers — living math books.

This is a short list of various math reader-type books that I either have read or otherwise feel worth recommending. Most math readers are simply storybooks with math concepts in them. Some books on this page aren't exactly storybooks but are written in a more engaging or interesting manner than what most.

Math Made Enjoyable. Math Lessons for a Living Education Level 3 teaches math through engaging real-life stories and practical application. This story-based approach ensures math is exciting and enjoyable as students participate in the story, make mathematical connections, explore the world around them with Charlie & Charlotte, and learn how they can put math to 99%().
